2009 Solar & Green Home Tour:

The Western North Carolina Green Building Council invites you to learn more about green building at their annual Solar and Green Home Tour. On October 10, 2009 19 of WNC’s greenest homes will open their doors to visitors to see first hand what sustainable building can look like. The WNCGBC has categorized the following green building elements for each site: Site and Water Conservation, Energy Use/Renewable Energy, Sustainable Materials, and Indoor Air Quality.
This is a self-guided tour. The WNCGBC will provide a brochure with directions and details about the homes featured. Bringing a good map of the area is encouraged. Homes on the tour will be open from 11:00AM to 4:00PM.
Those who wish to join in the day of the tour can register in person on October 10th, 2009 at the Earth Fare Grocery store in the Westgate Shopping Center from 9:30AM to 11:30AM.
Registration is $10 for WNCGBC members and $15 for non-members. We encourage carpooling!
CEU's available for GPA and ECO agents.
By registering online participants agree to the attached liability waiver.
