The Education Committee is responsible for developing and coordinating educational expositions, green building tours, articles and courses. |
Education is the main goal of the WNCGBC and this is a great opportunity to learn more about many aspects of green building and get involved on a grassroots level. We depend on volunteers to help spread our important message. There are a variety of ways we can use your talents, skills and enthusiasm for green building.

- Developing "101 Green Building Program" - a series of specialized courses for professionals in the green building industry
- Publishing Educational Articles about Green Building
- Coordinating a Green Building series of presenters for the annual Southern Energy & Environment Expo in August
- Organizing a tour of green buildings in our community to coincide with the Southern Energy & Environment Expo
- Publishing of a complimentary Green Building Directory of products and services in our region
